e-maktab offers four distinct user roles:
1. Admin
2. Supervisor
3. Teacher
4. Viewer
1. Admin
The Admin role provides full access to the system, including all features, functions, and administrative privileges. Admin users have complete control over all data and settings within the platform.
2. Supervisor
When assigning the Supervisor role, you must select a type (e.g., Payment Schedule). Supervisors have access to students who are part of the specified Payment Schedule, as well as their associated parents and classrooms.
A Supervisor can view most information across the system but has limited editing capabilities. They can only edit or delete records they have created themselves and cannot modify or remove any other data.
3. Teacher
Teachers can only access students assigned to the classrooms they teach. In addition to viewing these students, teachers can log attendance and record incidents. You can assign a teacher to multiple classrooms if needed; for example, if a teacher is responsible for two classes, you can select both classrooms during their account setup.
This will grant the teacher access to view all students linked to those classrooms, as well as their associated parents.
4. Viewer
The Viewer role provides read-only access to the entire system. Users with this role can browse all areas of the platform but cannot create, edit, or delete any data. This role is ideal for users who need to review information without making changes.
