1. Accessing the Academic Year Setup

Login to the System:
- Begin by logging into your e-maktab system with your admin credentials.

Navigate to the Academic Year Section:
- Once logged in, click on the setting icon on the left hand side and click on “Academic Settings”
2. Creating a New Academic Year

Initiate the Creation Process:
- On the Academic Year management page, click on the “Create New Academic Year” button on the top right hand corner.

Enter Academic Year Details:
- Year Name: Enter a name for the academic year, e.g., “2024/2025”.
- Start Date: Select the start date for the academic year.
- End Date: Select the end date for the academic year.

Save the Academic Year:
- After entering all the details, click the “Save”

Confirmation:
- A confirmation message will appear, indicating that the academic year has been successfully created.
3. Creating Terms within the Academic Year

Navigate to the Terms Section:
- After creating the academic year, you will be prompted to set up terms for the year.
- Alternatively, you can navigate to the “Terms” section under the newly created academic year by clicking on the “Manage Terms” or “Add Terms” button.

Initiate Term Creation:
- Click on the “Create New Term” button.

Enter Term Details:
- Term Name: Enter a name for the term, e.g., “Term 1”, “Spring Term”, etc.
- Start Date: Select the start date for the term.
- End Date: Select the end date for the term.
- Associated Year: Ensure that the correct academic year is selected or associated with this term.

- You may have options to add further details such as exam dates, holidays, or special events that fall within the term.
