How to add reward types

In order to give a reward, you first need to create your Reward Types. Reward Types are categories that help define the specific reason or purpose for awarding a merit. These categories serve as a way to organise and classify the various reasons someone might be recognised or rewarded, making it easier to track and manage the different types of achievements or contributions. By establishing clear Reward Types, you ensure that each merit is associated with a meaningful and relevant category, which enhances the overall reward system's clarity and effectiveness.

Only users with admin or manager privileges have the authority to add new reward types.

STEP 1:

Login

STEP 2:

Click on the Settings Menu (gear cog icon) > Reward Types

STEP 3:

Add in your reward types

Name: The name of the reward type

Points: How many points is the reward

Icon: Select an icon to use from the dropdown

Description: Enter a meaning full description about the reward type

Status: Active or inactive
